Everything Is Going Down, But The Word Of God……Well, there is now a Church Of God In Christ (COGIC) Singles website. When you first think about it, the thought might be offensive, but after giving it more thought it is really a brilliant idea. After all, there is Christian Mingles and other dating sites that Christians use as a means to meet new people or reacquaint with old friends. This will stop people from having to call me to get the background on someone. Those of us that are COGIC know this is the run down: What is there name? Where are they from? Who’s their bishop? And just like that we have your life history, good or bad. COGIC Singles is brilliant and I hate I did not think of it first. The national church released a statement that reduced the church and leadership by addressing the matter. What they should have done was found the owner and partner with them or bought it from them because this is a goldmine in the making. COGIC boast
that they are the largest Black Pentecostal denomination so why not support COGIC people meeting, dating and marrying with the COGIC community. Instead the National church managed to have time to issue the following statement in the midst of the number of lawsuits, legal matters, bishops with bastard babies preaching at convocation, child molesters with titles, identity theft, racketeering, money laundering, and fraud, etc, they found the time for COGIC Singles to be addressed:

A website, without the church’s permission, has listed Church of God in Christ calendar events on its site. The denomination’s legal department is working to resolve the matter.
Hello members and visitors, well after yesterday’s mention of COGICSingles.com on the Yolanda Adams morning show, I was informed that the National Church has released a statement. So please allow me to confirm what they have released in their statement. COGICSingles.com is not owned or operated by the National Church, it is a vision that God gave me to meet a need that exists in the Church of God in Christ as well as all other denominations of faith. What makes our site different is that we are in total support and endorse all the doctrines and teachings of Bishop C.H. Mason and the Church of God in Christ. This is the church that I was raised in and that I love but the fact remains that there is still a need for single COGIC men and women to meet other like minded singles who share the same set of beliefs and spiritual teachings. Our COGIC singles deserve a site dedicated to them and their belief system because whether we want to admit it or not, our
COGIC singles are trying internet dating on sites like E-Harmony, Christian Mingle, Plenty of Fish and Black People Meet and I can guarantee those sites are not concerned with the doctrines, beliefs, or teachings of the Church of God in Christ. It is great to meet someone that is like minded and share the same faith. You know the hook up happens at every meeting, be honest men and women, men on men, women on women it goes down. Like T.I. says “Whatever you like!” Trust me; they will be at the meeting. This reminds me of the member of my Obnoxious Street Committee that brought to my attention the sex parties at various meeting taking place, but that was far too deep for me to have posted. Having an exclusive COGIC dating site is not offensive because meeting people and dating goes on at all conventions in all denominations and even professionally. Now let me make it clear, you may see an ad for Sir William G. McCray, III because I am single and ready to mingle plus I want to see and know who else has profiles on the site to blog about like The Stellar Awards, Gospel Music Workshop, and other gatherings. Bishop Blake has stated on many occasions that he met Lady Mae at a COGIC Youth Congress
back in the day. So why not evolve with the times and support online dating? What could it hurt?
