Obnoxious Media regrets to inform you that Alex Hobbs has passed.
As if the loss of Al “The Bishop” Hobbs wasn’t tragic enough, Dennis Cole, President Emeritus of the Chicago Area Gospel Announcers Guild, reported today that Al’s son, Alex, shot and killed himself accidentally while cleaning his gun.
Alex, along with his sister Asha, attended the tribute program held for their father in late July at the Gospel Music Workshop of America in Atlanta. Alex spoke briefly at the event, thanking everyone for their support.
One can only imagine how devastating this must be for the Hobbs family. Please keep Asha and the rest of her family uplifted in prayer.
