Presiding Apostle Robert L. Sanders, Sr. along with the Board of Apostles with great sadness inform you about the transitioning of our legendary beloved leader and former Presiding Prelate of the Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ, the honorable Chief Apostle William L. Bonner. Who passed away today, Friday, April 3, 2015.
Today, on Good Friday, the world has lost a great giant in the Gospel. An anointed humble servant, one of America’s last founding fathers of Pentecostalism.
Funeral plans have not been finalized. Please keep the Bonner family and COOLJC in your prayers. We will keep you informed of the detailed Memorial and National Homegoing Service Celebration.
Today we morn, but not as those who have no hope, the passing of our beloved leader – Chief Apostle William Lee Bonner, Sr. Apostle Bonner was a great man of God who knew the power of prayer and a life devoted to Jesus Christ. Thou we are sadden by his transition we are comforted by the fact that he is now resting in the presence of the Lord. He fought a good fight, finished his course, he kept the faith. Henceforth there is laid up for him a crown of righteousness. Please let us pray for the Bonner Family and all of those affected by the life of this great man of God. #WeRememberApostleBonner#HailtotheChief
