After months of cheating rumors surrounding Robin Thicke, the crooner and his actress wife of nine years, Paula Patton, are separating.
The couple, who began dating in high school and welcomed their son Julian in April 2010, said in a statement to People.com: “We will always love each other and be best friends, however, we have mutually decided to separate at this time.”
The pair’s relationship has come under scrutiny in recent months after Thicke was photographed with socialite Lana Scolaro at a post-MTV Video Music Awards party in New York last September.
In the shot, Thicke appeared to be cupping the blonde’s buttocks and she subsequently went public with claims that he didn’t stop there, telling Life & Style magazine the singer hit on her, while Patton watched.
At the time, Patton’s representative dismissed Scolaro as “just a girl looking for attention” and insisted the actress and her husband “aren’t concerned” about the cheating rumors.

That is when he really goes wild and after the other women. Insiders close say that Robin started using every now and then while out, but now he is using often on a regular basis. Now this is just a rumor, but with so many celebrities checking out due to drug overdose it leads you to believe the rumors are true.
